MEDICAID: Patient Advocate and Enrollment Coordinator

Under the supervision of Project Director or Project Manager, the Patient Advocate assists uninsured individuals with the process of applying for Medical Assistance benefits. The Advocate may work on site at clients hospital or in an office setting doing primarily desk work that may comprise of completing and submitting Medical Assistance applications to the appropriate County Assistance Office; monitoring its progress and updating both company and hospital database systems, and following HIPAA guidelines to maintain the individual’s confidentiality. This position requires excellent phone, computer, communication, and organizational skills.
